Frequently asked questions

What countries and databases does Clinical Trials Watch support?

We currently support all clinical trials and sponsors on ClinicalTrials.gov. ClinicalTrials.gov is maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and has over 300,000 research studies from over 200 countries.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, you can cancel any paid subscription at any time within the account page. If you cancel your subscription, you will still be able to access the features for the rest of the billing month.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time when you’re logged in and visit the account subscription page.

What is clinical trial monitoring?

Clinical trial monitoring refers to the collection and analysis of details/information regarding a trial in order to determine if any recent changes have occurred. Let’s say you have an interest in the progress of a clinical trial and enable monitoring for it through our service. Whenever the trial’s information (status, design, enrollment count, locations, outcomes, etc.) is updated on ClinicalTrials.gov, our service will automatically send you an email notification alerting you of this change.

Are there any long-term commitments?

No. We only offer a month-to-month subscription service to give you the flexibility to stop or resume your subscription at anytime. Note that our monthly paid subscriptions automatically renew every month, if not canceled before the end of the period.

How do I sign up for a Free account? How long does it last?

Signing up for a free, lifetime account is fast and easy. No credit card information needed for our free plan.  Click here to sign up now.

What is sponsor/collaborator monitoring?

This type of monitoring detects all new trials and all changes to existing trials published by a sponsor/collaborator on ClinicalTrials.Gov. If you have a strong interest in the progress of a specific company, rather than adding each organization’s trial individually, you can simply enter the sponsor name. You will get notifications when the organization adds any new trials or when any of the organization’s existing trials are updated.

How do you send alerts and how often?

Clinical Trials Watch can send notifications via email to recipients of your choosing. We detect any changes within 15 minutes of being updated on ClinicalTrials.gov.
